Tis the season of many many feasts! Many people feel bogged down by the end of the season which is why the big diet resolutions start in January. What if you could make it through the feasting season without feeling that way though?!

Intermittent fasting seems like a new fad but really it’s been around for thousands of years. Every major religion in the world has fasting as a part of its discipline. What if managing your feasting season was as easy as fasting? It is so much easier to abstain from all food SOME of the time than abstaining from some food ALL the time. It keeps you from feeling deprived and stops that awful cycle of abstaining – craving – binging – self-hatred – abstaining….

This way you can partake in everything you want and just don’t eat at all other times. For instance, if you know you have a big meal coming up in the evening, choose to abstain from food all day until then. If you know you have a big brunch the next morning, skip supper the night before. Fasting has amazing health benefits and you’ll never regret getting into it!
